About Julie

Hi! I'm Coach Julie and I have a question for you. How would you want to live the rest of your life? In other words, since the average human lifespan is expanding, do you want to live every day feeling great? I call this ability to stay activity and healthy until your last day Health Span; and I'm a Health Span champion! My mission is to get everyone to be able to live every day for the rest of their lives in Peak Health. For some, it might be through weight loss. For others, perhaps building more strength and muscle tone is the answer. Which is what I love about being a fitness coach; addressing the unique needs and goals of each client. Because, let's face it, no two people are exactly alike. Besides the fitness component, I will work with you on healthier food choices, easy to plan menu preparation, and the mindset required to maintain healthier lifestyle habits. Mobility and flexibility play an important role in my training process as well, because if your body is out of alignment or exhibits musculoskeletal imbalances, that's where we start before getting into more intense movements. Exercise is my medicine; it is my go-to drug of choice (besides caffeine) when I need a mental, emotional or physical boost. I figured this out while training for biathlon races called Ride and Tie, where two human partners and one horse race through wooded mountains to complete a course. I continued to live out my passion both doing and teaching CrossFit, which elevated my knowledge of anatomy and movement. So you don't just get a workout with me, you get passion, education, experience and motivation. I look forward to meeting you.
