About Barbara
As a Health Coach and a Personal Trainer my goal is to meet people where they're, not give them a generic predetermined model of wellness, because no two people are the same. When I work with my clients, I want to support them in creating a plan, and setting goals to help them get closer to being the best possible version of themselves. I consider each of my clients strengths and then encourage them to maximize their health by avoiding deprivation, restriction, confusion, and guilt. I want my all my clients to feel empowered by their health decisions. Why choose me? You ask. Let me be straight forward, my mission has always been the same. I want to share my passion for fitness and healthy living with my clients, by creating an environment that is welcoming, educational, and above all honest. I like getting people excited about what I'm excited about.
My favorite client story
I had an older lady come see me and she was terrified. Her husband had died a few months earlier and her kids felt she need to take better care of herself. She was very obese and suffering with depression. After our first meeting she was not only ready to make a change she exceeded all of them. By the 1 year mark she was down 30 lbs, walking 5 days a week and weight lifting regularly. Within a 2 yr period she was running and no longer depressed. She completely changed her life and the quality of her life.

For me personally I love squats, any version of them.

My training philosophy
Give what you want in return.
If you want a client to committed then be committed. When you're with a client, don't be anywhere else. Full attention to them. Know your client and what makes them tick.
My training experience
Over 20 years of training, health coaching for 6. I've trained obese, deaf, disabled, youth, athletes, military, and homemakers.
