Hi, my name is Alejandro. I have a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Portland State University. I am certified with ACE and have been Personal Training for 6 years now. I have been practicing Martial Arts for 20 years now, and it has influenced my life greatly. I got into this field because I wanted to help people and share my passion of Health and Fitness with others. I'm fascinated with Anatomy and Physiology and I want to share my expertise with you!
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the Body Row, It works the Posterior Chain which is what Is what the Average person needs to focus on in our society. We spend all day, driving, siting typing on a computer, essentially in a flexed position with our shoulders anteriorly rotated and a rounded back. By performing the body row we engage in Scapular retraction, off setting the negative aspects of our modern life.
