
About Tyler
Expert trainer and coach with a passion for helping others enhance their lives through fitness. Since completing my Kinesiology degree in 2015, I have transformed the lives of people at all ages and all levels of fitness. I started out in Physical Therapy, where I focused primarily on sports, orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and injury prevention. I wanted to continue working with the individuals who were returning to sport, so I began working in group fitness as a coach. As a group fitness coach, I have taught high intensity interval training, crossfit, strength, and cardio classes. Coaching in this setting has taught me to be motivational, commanding, and quick on my feet. Also, I love the energy in a bass-bumping, calorie-torching, group fitness class! As a personal trainer, I like to blend my backgrounds in Physical Therapy and group fitness to create a customized plan to achieve the client's goals. I believe in the importance of setting SMART goals, understanding the science behind training and nutrition, and having a positive mental attitude. I design a personalized program to reach the goals of each client, considering his or her personal situation. My clients and I will work hard together, use proper form and techniques, and give one another feedback. I will explain the reasoning for each exercise and offer alternatives if necessary.
