About Sierra



Sierra became a certified personal trainer in 2012 and completed her yoga teacher training in 2015; she loves helping clients on their unique health and wellness path.  She believes that health is a product of regular exercise, good nutrition and mental wellbeing. As you work with Sierra she will help you to identify and change behaviors that will give you the tools you need to reach your personal health and wellness goals. Sierra completed a certification in Nutrition through Precision Nutrition in 2018 in order to better help clients learn how food affects our bodies and work with them to build healthy nutritional habits. She completed her AA in psychology in 2018 and is currently completing her BA in Psychology at CSULB in order to explore behavioral change and further understand how our thoughts, behaviors and self-perceptions affect our health.  



My favorite client story

Every time hear a client say that their confidence and body image has improved, that they feel proud of themselves, that they feel stronger or happier and more in control of their life choices it makes my day. It's hard to pick just one.

My training philosophy

I believe that training is more than just the physical part of health. It is about identifying behaviors and changing them to live a lifestyle that leads you towards your health goals. This involves bringing awareness to your current behaviors, learning correct exercise, nutritional habits and mental thought patterns.

My training experience

I have been a personal trainer (CPT) for 6 years and a yoga instructor (RYT) for 3 years. I worked for 2 years as a trainer for 24 hour fitness and then started my own company, Sierra Training and Yoga. I have worked with clients ages 18-65, male and female. I have also worked with people recovering from injuries and helped them correct their form and movements to relieve pain.
