Ryan is great! I’ve lost about 10% of my weight and become much more toned while training with him. One of the coolest things about him is the variety and creativity to his workouts. There are so many trainers out there that have the same setup each class which can get boring. I always look forward to Ryan’s workouts because I know I’ll get something new and fun. It’s very motivating when he’ll give me specific goals and he finds ways to make me compete against myself which makes me push harder. Ryan also makes many of his workouts into games which is really unique and makes you forget that you’re getting an amazing workout. His style is an extension of what he created at Throwback Fitness so if you get a chance, check him out there too!

Nick is an amazing trainer. I've been going to him for training/boot camp classes for several years and it's always a great workout. He has different group classes each day of the week so you can target your workouts to best suit your needs. He's positive, great at motivating you to do your best and, in addition, he's just a great guy that really wants you to succeed. I would definitely recommend Nick and Platt-Form!!!

I keep my client base to 10 clients or less so that I can give each one the attention and dedication that they deserve out of their trainer. I am always available through phone or text and even check in on the weekends or days we don't train together to make sure my clients are doing what they need to be doing to reach their goals. My name is Dylan Abernethy. I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science as well as a certification through the American College of Sports Medicine in Personal Training. I have been passionate about fitness for going on 10 years. I have recently within the last year been certified to start personal training. My passion for fitness began at the age of 17 working out in my friends garage. I always been athletic growing up, I played baseball for 8 years then started playing golf around my junior year of high school and fell in love with the sport and have been doing that for the past 10 years. Fitness to me really became my passion because of the benefits not only physically but mentally as well. My goal is to pass on my knowledge to clients and change their lives for the better. Typically with new clients I will run some assessments to gauge their fitness level also take them through some mobility screens and then based on the results prescribe some workouts fit for that individual. I have worked with ages 12-14 through a baseball specific strength and conditioning program. I have also worked with ages 35-70, doing some 1 on 1 personal training. My training style is more functional working with bodyweight, kettlebells, and TRX. Flexibility and Range of Motion (ROM) is also very important. The biomechanics of golf and how to train for that go hand in hand with day to day activity. My goal is to help clients move towards a healthier lifestyle and make life a better experience one workout at a time.
