I'm Shai. Strength coach, Exercise Science graduate, and USA Streetlifting Champion in the -94kg class. I've been training, competing and coaching in weighted calisthenics and barbell training for years. I'm still competing and still improving. The clients I work best with are people who are serious. That might be someone who's been lifting for years and feels stuck, or it might be someone brand new who's done half-stepping and ready to actually commit. The common thread isn't experience level, it's mindset. If you show up ready to put in the work, I'm going to meet you there. My approach is direct and no-fluff. I'm going to ask a lot of questions upfront because I'd rather understand your situation fully than hand you something generic. From there we build something that actually fits your life, not just something that looks good on paper. I care about movement quality, longevity, and making sure the way you're training today doesn't wreck you five years from now. I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear. My favorite client story

Josh wanted a ring muscle-up. Three weeks later he had it. I watched him struggle and figured out pretty quick it was his false grip falling apart mid-pull. So we fixed that with weighted false grip pull-ups, ring dips, and dialing in the position with actual load behind it. Three weeks of that and it clicked. No magic, just finding the weak link and going after it.

My training philosophy

Add weight, get stronger, repeat. I train weighted calisthenics: pull-ups, dips, muscle-ups and squats with real programming behind it, not just vibes. Periodization, wave loading, RPE, auto-regulation, and reverse pyramid training are the same tools powerlifters use that I applied to weighted calisthenics. I'm a USA Streetlifting Champion and I coach the same way I train: no fluff, just work that actually moves the needle.

My training experience

I've been training for about 7 years and I got into weighted calisthenics; pull-ups, dips, muscle-ups, squats about 3 years ago. Competed and won at the USA Streetlifting Regional Championship in the -94kg class. Recently hit the front lever. I'm not just a coach who reads about this stuff, I'm in the gym doing it, progressing through the same movements I program for my clients.
