If you want vitality, to feel great (even young) again and are ready to take control of your health, but are limited on time and need a program that is customized to your specific schedule and needs, this is for you! And you want someone who understands those needs and has the experience to help you achieve your goals, you've found your trainer. Simplicity and efficiency. You have enough on your plate. Our plan will optimize the time we have to together to maximize results.
Holistic Training isn't about "getting in shape". It's about finding balance and achieving optimal mind and body health to truly flourish. Holistic training includes:
developing daily physical habits, nutrition, and functional physical activity;
stress coping skills, narrative reconstruction, and overcoming obstacles
achieving goals and desires
creating balance to do the things you love most
strength, balance, flexibility, mindfulness
all crafted in a customized program for your body, mind, and soul that works with your crazy schedule.
I work with a very limited number of clients because we work holistically. Once I am at capacity, I am happy to place you on a waiting list until a space opens.
My favorite exercise
This is like asking a parent who their favorite child is! But there are definitely some exercises that are more efficient and effective than others.
My favorite quote
Think big. Start small. Act now.
My training philosophy
No two bodies are identical. Each person will have a little different program based on their body, goals, and desires. We look at how to reach the goal holistically so that success is sustainable.
My training experience
I have been in health and fitness over 25 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in that time. I particularly enjoy working with people who are ready to focus on their health and need some assistance.

Wendy was a very lucky find, I cannot say enough positive things about her! Having just had my second child, I was slightly out of shape when I started working with Wendy. She eased me into the routine and didn't make me feel bad about not having exercised for many years prior. Instead, Wendy kept me feeling positive and motivated. Consequently, I have lost all of the baby weight and feel stronger and more fit than I have in many years, if not, ever!! Wendy is also witty, thoughtful and kind. I look forward to our sessions.
Being a combat veteran with injuries and limitations Wendy was able to tailor workouts specific for me that strengthens the area around my injuries and help me get back into some sort shape. You Wendy also held me accountable to my workouts and really motivated me, when I had no motivation. If Wendy was still in my state, I would still be one of her clients cause she knows her stuff!
It's an interesting thing, when you hire a trainer. You expect to find yourself sweating and hurting (which of course you do), but what you do not realize is that not only is your body being shaped and conditioned, but so are your mind and emotions. Wendy has this uncanny ability to help you dive into those deep rooted spots that we somehow have kept hidden (even from ourselves). As you're being told, "one more rep" and your body is screaming "no", you find that her belief in your ability helps you move through it. There are trainers, then there is Wendy. Holistic, determined and real.
My wife had decided that she wanted to start yoga, as a good husband I fully supported her decision, not realizing that when she meant her she was really talking about us, Yippee!! So in comes Wendy, poor thing, not realizing that I had been roped into this, she started the class. Of course I had 100% gone in there with the idea of this being a one time thing.... 8 months later i am still thinking it will be a one time thing. Just kidding. Wendy has not only changed my thought process in regards to yoga but has been very kind a patient with me. Her knowledge and expertise are fantastic each weekly program consists of achieving new goals while continually perfecting old ones. Without knowing it I have seem tremendous and significant physical and mental change. I could not think of a better person than Wendy to help you in whatever goals you have when it comes to Yoga and even life. I look forward to continuing our work relationship and blossoming friendship.
Wendy is a highly skilled instructor with extensive training and years of experience and I feel lucky to have found her for private yoga instruction. Her training and skills extend beyond yoga and she provides insights on healing modalities and inspires confidence to have faith in her approach and methods. She is a delight to work with, always on time and flexible in terms of scheduling and always has energy and a positive vibe. I am more motivated to practice and advance given the opportunity to work with her, and she regularly tailors our sessions based on how I am feeling and whether I am suffering from any injury etc. She clearly gives thought and preparation for each session and constantly mixes up our classes. I have gotten in better shape without a doubt thanks to Wendy and am more mindful of my breathing and eating and life in general. Thanks!
Wendy is a highly qualified trainer with extensive experience and does a great job of varying our sessions and adjusting them to fit my needs/desires. I have improved my flexibility and balance and strengthened my core. Wendy is always very positive, very easy to worth with, motivates me and is great about working around my schedule.
I began taking Yoga with Wendy a couple of years ago. Unlike other classes, I always felt encouraged, supported, and nourished when we finished. I felt myself growing stronger and more focused. My balance improved as well. Wendy creates a nurturing atmosphere, weaving spirituality into the practice to support a perfect mind/body experience.
I worked with Wendy for several years. When I had to move I knew that I would miss her. Our training sessions were always great. She had a way to make them fun but they always challenged me. At one point in our time together I was going through some hard times. Wendy was always was there to motivate and encourage me to carry on. Some days she would say, let's take this outside and we would walk, run a little and talk. She has a heart of gold and I wish that I could still train with her. Wendy always took time to make my workouts meaningful to me and to get me in the best shape I could be in. If you have a chance to work with her, take it, you will not be disappointed.
