About Sharon

Fitness has always been a part of my life-volleyball, dance, weight training, and martial arts-so it was quite a blow when I was sidelined by debilitating pain from a ruptured disk in my spine. After a successful surgery, I pulled a muscle and was bedridden for three months. Over that time my body became extremely deconditioned. It wasn’t until I was able to go to physical therapy that I started to get some relief from the pain. But, for anyone who has gone through physical therapy, we often don’t have enough sessions. Now what? I was an extreme situation, but for anyone who has joint pain or injury, inactivity is not an option.

This is why I decided to become a personal trainer—to help people lose weight, get strong, and live a balanced life. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Health Coach, Orthopedic Exercise Specialist, Silver Sneakers Instructor, and graduate of the Body Design University Personal Trainer course.
