About Michele

Having been a Fitpro for many years, I have worked with a variety of clients from student athletes to senior citizens, folks recovery from surgeries and seniors working on mobility and strength. Every client has a story, and their program is built on their needs, goals, previous and current injuries, experience and ability. My approach takes into consideration not just what you do when you are IN the training studio, but what you are doing when you are home as well. Do you sit at a computer all day? Are you taking care of young children or aging parents? Suffer from depression or anxiety? ALL of these factor into your health and fitness, and are absolutely considered when I work with you as a client. A successful training program is one that has my clients feeling confident, healthy and motivated. I follow the guidelines set by the American College of Sports Medicine, and have found over and over the long term success comes from changing from within and finding the strength to push through the grind in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.


My favorite client story

I have a client who started with me many years ago. She came after somewhat recovering from a horrific fall and injury to her arm, as well as having frozen shoulder in her opposite arm. She could not lift her arms up higher than just a few inches and could barely do bicep curls with 3 lb dumbbells. She can now bring her arms overhead to slam a medicine ball, can curl 8-10 lbs, and is capable of doing so much more. She HATES exercising but had to start to continue her recovery post injury. She never fails to tell me how much she hates to exercise. She has been with me for EIGHT years! For someone to stay with me that long, I have to think I am doing something right :)
