My favorite client story

I had a client who couldn't do a single push up on her knees when we met and was unsatisfied with her weight and physical appearance. After 6 months of training with me, she could do 35 push ups on her toes, met her weight loss goals, and looked amazing!

My training philosophy

Proper form is the foundation of fitness. I'm a firm believer that training without form leads to more harm than good. I take this approach with all of my clients by establishing a solid base of form, then layering on complexity and more challenging (and fun!) exercises. Your body is amazing at telling you when you are pushing it too far and fast. Listen to your body and don't go beyond the limits your body is prepared for. My philosophy is to gradually level up your body's tolerance for strain and pain and push you as far as you are willing to go!

14 years personal training as well as fitness classes including yoga, spin, pilates, bootcamp, and dance (ballet, contemporary, pole).

Due to the pandemic, I have started virtual training a few months ago. I wasn't sure what to expect and how this was going to work out for me. But Arlene made it seemless and exceeded all my expectations. She is very personable, knowledgeable, punctual and motivating. All my workouts are customized as per my needs, concerns and abilities. Arlene also spends time educating me on the importance of nutrition and sends me encouraging communications throughout the week. I am already seeing the results!!
