Some of the services I offer:
I do HIIT. Short, intense workouts followed by short or sometimes, active rest periods. This is perfect in getting the heart rate up and burn more fat in less time. Some of the pros include increased metabolism, short workout (efficient!), and body weight is used more than half the time (less equipment necessary).
I also do Strength Training. The client and I discuss the goals, ie fat loss, muscle tone, etc. I take into account health history, limitations, previous injuries, and level of physical activity. For strength training, we use resistance to activate muscle contraction. More muscle means increased metabolism. Strength training builds strength, anaerobic endurance, and increased muscle (hypertrophy).
I conduct Fitness Assessments. Fitness assessments are a great way to measure your current overall health and fitness. I conduct this through a history evaluation, Over Head Squat Assessment, Muscular Strength and Endurance Test, Cardiorespiratory Test, as well as Anthropometric Measurements. These will serve as a baseline for you to determine your fitness level, goals, and specific needs.
