Welcome to Wave of Fun Fitness, where you learn to play with purpose! We are a fitness club dedicated to teaching adults and those with special needs help them set relistic goals, move the body in a fun way, and play.
We offer beginning movement, functional movement, fun group sessions, or just some personal training.
I enjoy finding fun ways to help you move your body, and you can find me:
Private and small group begining movement/functional movement (Learn to use your body, and some gym equipment in home or in my gym)
Playground begining/functional movement (helping individual/groups use playground equipment at local parks for fitness and fun)
Board exercises (This includes stretching and calisthenics, sometimes using skateboards, surfboards, and other balance equipment)
Flag-Tag (Fun small group/buisness game of tag. Think flag football meets bootcamp)
Personal training (This is a one on one/ couple/ family fitness session. Sessions are desighned around your fitness and wellness goals)
A little about me....
I enjoy lifting weights, a good surfskate session, and strongwoman competitions.
I am available
During the school season (August - May)4:30 pm-8 pm mon-fri, 7 am-7 pm sat and sun
Summer/Holiday Seson (June - August, December holidays, spring break)
My favorite client story
Miss S. was not crazy about the idea of exercising, but loved dancing. She also did not like doing things alone. She had a hard time sticking to any routine because she often became bored or lonely. I set up a small group session with the help of her doctor with individuals who had similar goals and health issues. The first 80s jam beginning movement session was created. I enjoy the pictures she shares with the group of all the fun new things she can try, like salsa dancing, and the encouragement she gives others by sharing her before pictures and stories about how her first movement was standing from the bench with assistance to working on endurance for her clubbing nights.
My favorite exercise
My personal favorite is the squat. I also enjoy loaded carries in various forms. My favorite to implement in sessions are any kind of callisthenic on a variety of surfaces for balance and mobility.

My training philosophy
Fitness should be fun, and part of our daily lives. Everyone deserves to play in a way that will help their overall wellness.
My training experience
I have been a Personal Trainer since 2019.I have enjoyed running boot camp, and Yoga, classes for a commercial gym. I also enjoyed running in person and online Cancer survivor personal training sessions, as well as group Parkinson's classes. For the last 5 years I have enjoyed coaching and assisting with movement for autistic and other SDC youth, while running Wave of Fun Fitness Club
