About Tamika

Accelerate Performance Personal Training likes to put the personal back into training. That sounds corny but is needed in today's fitness environment. Our sessions are dependent upon our client's fitness level, workout consistency, health history, goals, flexibility, and motivations. We specialize in sports specific training, weight loss, prehab, and rehabilitation. We are a full-service gym that is great for increasing muscle mass and functional movement. 

    We work with our client's from the bottom up. That means we train from the inside out. We start from the core strength and build out into muscular endurance. When a strong core is at the center of a body the progress is quicker and stronger. Step out and give us a shot, your body will thank you 


My favorite exercise

My favorite exercise is the burpee. I hate it while I'm doing it but it is one of the best full body exercises to perform. Not only do I work my legs, lower abs, core, chest, shoulders, triceps and glutes, but I also get a cardio work out as well. What's not to love?

My training philosophy

No matter how much motivation I provide, you have to do the work. The work isn't in the gym it's in your mind. You have to belive, prepare and sustain. I will go all out for you to be the person you were meant to become, however, you have to come willingly.

My training experience

Over the years I have had the pleasure of training athletes, fitness competitors and have rehabbed many others. These trainings come from my corrective exercise, water fitness trainer, sports specialist, weight loss, group training and nutrition certifications.
