Ethan Clark
About Ethan
I’m a certified personal trainer with over 10 years of experience in strength training, athletic performance, mobility, and nutrition. I work with clients of all levels to help them move better, get stronger, and feel more confident. My training focuses on proper movement, progression, and sustainable results. Fitness changed my life, and now I’m passionate about helping others build strength, resilience, and healthy habits that last.
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the deadlift. It’s a powerful, explosive movement that works nearly every muscle in the body and serves as a true test of strength. While the physical benefits are incredible, what makes it my favorite is the mental challenge. Facing a heavy bar and pushing yourself to lift it tests your focus, determination, and grit. And when you finally pull it off, there’s no better feeling in the world.
My favorite quote
“Do what you hate to do, but do it like you love it.” — Mike Tyson
It’s one of Tyson’s most well-known lines about discipline. Meaning that success often requires pushing through discomfort and doing hard things with full commitment and intensity, even when you don’t feel like it.
My training philosophy
My training philosophy is built on consistency, discipline, and proper movement. I believe progress comes from mastering the basics, staying patient, and showing up even when it’s tough. Training isn’t just about building muscle, it’s about developing mental strength, confidence, and healthy habits that carry over into everyday life. My goal is to help each client move better, feel stronger, and build a mindset that turns challenges into growth.
My training experience
I’ve been passionate about sports since I was 4, and if it exists, I’ve probably tried it. I nearly played college football until a concussion changed my path, leading me to powerlifting, where I almost hit a 500 lb deadlift, and then to flexibility and mobility training after a shoulder injury. For the past 2 years, kickboxing has been my newest challenge. I love learning new exercise styles, and even more, I love helping others push their limits and achieve their goals.
