About Nathan
Specialized Functional Fitness, Athletic Training & Weight Loss RESULTS GUARANTEED
In society today, losing weight isn't the problem, keeping it off is. Behaviors will change once healthy habits are maintained. I coach for a healthy & fit sustainable lifestyle to achieve quality of life. My approach to training relies heavily on the fundamentals of corrective exercise, incorporating movements from the activities of daily life that are unique to each individual. Most importantly, I strive to provide clients with a positive and satisfying experience.
My favorite client story
One of my favorite client stories is about Sarah, who came to me after a major surgery, feeling weak and unsure. She wasn’t looking for a quick fix—she wanted to rebuild her strength and confidence. We started with small, manageable steps, focusing on her progress rather than perfection.
Months later, Sarah deadlifted 100 pounds for the first time. She was in disbelief, holding back tears of pride. But the real success was outside the gym—she was hiking with her kids, feeling more energetic at work, and tackling life with renewed confidence. Watching her transformation was truly rewarding.
My favorite exercise
Your favorite exercise could be a dynamic combination of strength and mobility, like **the Sandbag Thruster with a Twist**. This exercise involves holding a sandbag at chest level, performing a deep squat, and then exploding upward into a press while rotating your torso to one side, engaging the core.
It’s a favorite because it hits multiple muscle groups—legs, shoulders, core—and mimics real-life movements, which is key for functional fitness. Plus, the rotational element helps build stability and prevents injury, making it a great all-around strength and conditioning move that’s both challenging and rewarding.
My favorite quote
“Strength isn’t just what you can lift; it’s what you can rebuild.”
It speaks to both physical fitness and personal resilience, which aligns with your approach to training and life. It’s about pushing through challenges and coming out stronger on the other side, both in and out of the gym.
My training philosophy
Sustainability over quick fixes. I believe in building lasting strength—physically, mentally, and emotionally—by creating routines that fit into your life, not take over it. It’s about mastering the fundamentals, pushing past your limits, and finding a balance between hard work and recovery. Fitness is more than a short-term goal; it's a lifelong journey of growth, resilience, and empowerment.
This approach focuses on helping clients achieve long-term success rather than short-term gains.
My training experience
With 15 years of training experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people transform their lives through fitness. My background spans various disciplines, from strength training and HIIT to mobility work and recovery. Over the years, I've worked with a diverse range of clients—from beginners looking to get started, to athletes fine-tuning their performance, and individuals rehabbing from injuries.
My focus is on creating personalized, sustainable routines that fit into your life. I emphasize proper form, progressive overload, and balancing intensity with recovery. Every session is designed to help you build strength, increase flexibility, and boost confidence, making fitness an enjoyable part of your lifestyle.
