Hi, I'm Rebekah! My priority in training is educating you on how YOU can help you. I offer the tools and instruction, and with them you build your healthiest self.

I'm a certified personal trainer and mobility specialist with a background in nursing, and a firm believer that mindset, movement, and nutrition are the pillars for healthy and happy living. While working with me, you can expect guidance in improving all 3 of these pillars.

I have been working in the fitness industry for 8 years. My career started while I was a fitness instructor in Boston throughout nursing school, and it was here that I learned proactive and preventive healthcare/treatment was my passion rather than reactive management. Upon graduation in 2018, I left conventional medicine and became a personal trainer to pursue my dream of empowering people to help themselves become stronger in every sense, and stay out of the hospital. I worked as a Boston Equinox personal trainer for nearly 2 years, and started my own business Life Specific Fitness in late 2019.

I'm probably one of the nerdiest personal trainers out there. I value education and emphasize that I have spent years diving into certifications and graduate courses on health, wellness, and fitness. If you are looking for a simple push/pull program or 5x5, I am not your woman. If you are looking for impacting your health, making lifestyle changes in areas such as stress management, sleep, hydration, and mobility, then you are on the right profile. If you are rehabbing an acute, chronic, or recurrent injury, or if you are looking to prevent injury, then you are also on the right profile.

With my knowledge from nursing, group fitness, advanced certifications, and neuromusculoskeletal health from my current chiropractic program, I am confident in helping clients with a range of complications, comorbidities, and fitness levels. My training style includes mobility and stability work, proprioception and mind-body connection, fascial sling training, mental and physical strength, and, most importantly, how to become a healthier human.

I typically work with clients in their homes, virtually, or outdoors, though I do have gym space available.

I stress to all of my clients that I am their guide on their health and wellness journey, and they are on the front lines. Invest in your health, because investing in your illness or injury is never anyone's goal. Whether you are interested in weight loss or stress reduction, obstacle course racing or achieving your first pull-up, and so on, I look forward to helping you achieve your own life specific fitness.
