About Marcus

Whether you are just getting started and want to improve your overall fitness or you are an experienced athlete working to enhance athletic performance, Marcus can help you meet your goals. He is passionate about his role as a strength and conditioning coach and how the 2Perform program can help you get fit fast.

“Getting fit shouldn’t be intimidating. That’s the beauty of the 2Perform fitness approach. You don’t have to spend hours every day in the gym to get the benefit of exercise. 2Perform is fast but it’s also extremely effective and safe.” -Marcus

Marcus has worked with individuals and athletes of all levels and from all walks of life. His philosophy is based on the unique experience he developed while working in the areas of physical rehabilitation, strength and conditioning development, and his time spent in the U.S. military. He understands the need to design a program that will work for you and will help you set realistic objectives based on your unique needs.
Working to help individuals reach their fitness goals is a lifelong passion. His love for physical fitness began at an early age and continued through college where he played competitive rugby. The time he spent in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army gave him an appreciation for the power of physical conditioning in extremely challenging and stressful environments.

"I was a little worried that Marcus wouldn’t be the right trainer for me since I thought his military background might make him too tough. After deciding to give it a try I found him easy to work with and compassionate. He does take his job as a trainer seriously but he also made getting fit fun." –Molly G.

Marcus has a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, Fitness & Human Performance and has accomplished a number of fitness-related certifications. He was a Sports Director & Conditioning Coach in Houston, Texas before relocating to Dallas, and is currently the Co-Owner & Training Director of 2PERFORM. In addition to helping people meet their fitness goals, he enjoys spending time with his family, trying new foods, tasting the latest craft beer, and writing. His published works can be found online at CrazyStrength and the 2Perform blog.
