Overall I would describe my style of training as detailed and analytical. Every client has an online spreadsheet shared between us with his or her program in it. This spreadsheet is a program based on the client's goals, schedule, and ability. Every workout with me is a chance to improve in some way, no matter how small. Every time you go into a set, you will know what you must do in order to improve from what you've done previously. I work with clients ranging from once a week to five times per week, depending on financial level of commitment. But no matter the commitment level, my clients always know what they need to be doing in the gym, even when they're not with me.
A little about me... Born and raised in Florida, I graduated Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science (after first spending 2 years as a music major). I started my training career in 2013 at the school gym at FSU, training students and some faculty while simultaneously lifting with the FSU powerlifting club. After graduating, I worked at a health club in town for another 9 months before moving to NYC. After moving I got a job at a high end corporate gym in Manhattan, training lots of important professionals. This is where I really honed my craft. Surrounded by top notch trainers I took more certifications and developed my own formula and style - training over 100 sessions per month over my 2 and a half years there. I moved to Denver in May of 2018, again working in a high end health club, until I decided my client base was stable enough to start my own business (a dream for quite a while), CP Training.

I really enjoy having Chris as my personal trainer. He is knowledgeable with regards to physical fitness. What I like most is he listens to my goals and is lays out a weekly plan that get me where I want to be. I would highly recommend using CP Training.
Chris is the best! He perfectly balanced pushing me to my maximum without going overboard, which has turned me off from personal training in the past. He keeps things fresh and his workouts are diverse, but with enough consistency so that you can tangibly observe progress over time. Chris not only focuses on building endurance and strength but also incorporates lifestyle change recommendations to help his clients reach their goals.
I trained with Chris in New York City. He was the master of squats. He corrected my posture and helped me progress very well.
I had the pleasure of training with Chris for a full year. What started off as training for a race, quickly turned into a lifestyle. Chris is attentive to detail, listens to your goals, and is super fun! Everything he taught me has trickled over into my day to day life - from proper form to better posture. I highly recommend!
Chris is the best trainer I’ve ever had! He’s professional, flexible with your schedule and knows how to get maximum results.
Chris is by far the most personable and professional trainer I've ever worked with. His ability to quickly turn my goals into a maintainable regimen helped me not only see progress almost immediately, but build healthy habits which have stuck with me even after moving out of state. Chris' obsession with finding improvement in every movement and customization of routines to fit exactly what is needed for each of his clients ensures you're getting a 1:1 experience with massively positive results.
I am 45 and Chris has helped me be in the best shape of my life. I started with a goal of building muscle, and he put me on a strength training program. Over nine months I’ve gained almost 15 pounds, which I’ve never been able to do. I also never thought I could lift as much weight as I do now. Every workout and every exercise, Chris challenges you to improve something, even if it’s just one more rep. He tracks your progress and monitors your body’s metrics so you can see how you’re improving. His approach is highly motivating, and you’ll achieve your goals if you follow what he tells you. Don’t expect a therapy session during your training, Chris will work your butt off (or on if you want bigger glutes ?).
Chris helped me come back from major shoulder surgery through careful progression of exercises and resistance. He listens to his clients and ensures that their improvement is his top concern.
