I'm J'Nai Zugates. My first career was a RN but now that I lost 67 pounds on my own I became very intrigued with the fitness industry. I received my personal training certification which covers nutrition, strength training, cardiovascular, and muscle science. I have been training clients since September 2016, but now recently started my own personal training business. A typical session with me is 60 minutes long focusing on one area of the body per session. I individualize each workout to what the client is specifically trying to obtain. I provide a meal plan to go with the workout so that maximum results can happen. I have multiple training packages so there is not a set price. I offer many specials throughout the year and client referral discounts!
My favorite client story
I recently had a client who was obsessed with the scale. She was discouraged because she only lost two pounds, however when we took all her measurements she actually gained 3 pounds of muscle, lost 5 pounds of fat, and 2% body fat! Never go by just the number on the scale!
My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the smith machine glute kickback. I'm a tiny girl, so the smith machine allows me to lift more weight safely, also all of us girls are trying to build that booty!

My training philosophy
I believe you should be having fun while improving yourself. I motivate with fun activities, and great attitude! You can whine all you want, just don't quit!
My training experience
I currently have 13 full time clients that range from the age of 18 to 45 and in all different stages of athleticism. I specialize in coaching long distance running, strength training, toning, and body building. I also am getting my knowledge base to start training clients for physique and figure competitions.
