Gopal has an unconventional approach to fitness. It starts with you getting up and self motivating. He recommended sprint work which required me to do multiple sprints instead of long distance running. I incorporated his suggestions and improved my workouts. From there I did some different running workouts to include running on the track for 1/4 mile sprints. I was able to place 7th out of a group of 40 young soldiers for my Army Physical Training Test. Keep in mind that I am twice their age at 45 and most of them just returned from Basic Training. I am eagerly anticipating his class on Kettle Bells which I am totally against, but like sprints I will be pumped after. (Massachusetts National Guard)
Thanks Gopal for helping me with getting this old body back in shape. With swimming and the weight exercises you recommended, slowly but surely I am feeling better about my body's shape. I'll keep working. Oh, and also I'll watch my sugar intake. Thanks for everything.
