About Keena
I’m Keena Lampkins, the founder of Four Friends Fitness.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the health and wellness industry, supporting women from all walks of life as they achieve their fitness goals. Leading an active lifestyle and inspiring others to do the same has always been important to me.
I was only 12 when I first picked up a basketball.
A year later, I was already on the junior varsity team. Those moments were priceless, and I enjoyed every practice and game. After earning a scholarship to play basketball at a school in South Florida, I wound up in physical therapy because of a serious injury that kept me out for eight months.
My experiences in physical therapy motivated my decision to earn a degree in Sports Medicine from Jacksonville University, and I landed a job at a physical therapy practice before I even graduated.
But then, something happened…
A friend asked me to work with a lady who was house-ridden. I took up the challenge and was amazed at how much of a difference we could achieve with basic exercises. I didn’t know then that this was the sign I had been waiting for all my life. I decided to help a few other women, and that was exactly how Four Friends Fitness was born!
What started as a kind gesture to a woman in need became a full-fledged movement helping women with the training and support they need to lead happy, active, and healthy lives. I continue to be committed to the values that birthed Four Friends Fitness from the start. Four Friends still operates in small groups of a maximum of four people. This helps me provide more personalized attention for my clients in a setting that’s fun, supporting, educational, and affordable.
I enjoy teaching exercises for functional strength, improved mobility, and weight loss. If this excites you, you can schedule your free consultation. We’ll discuss your goals and map out a plan to get you started on the right path. I’m here to help you make health and fitness an enjoyable part of your life.
