I am a former restaurant manager turned fitness professional. My love of helping people took a 360 turn in 2009 when I decided to take a serious look at my own mortality. My passion for feeling and looking good from the inside out is what drives me daily both for my clients, students and myself. As we grow (older) things change and get worn out-personal experience talking here it is vital we stay moving and fuel properly. I love life and my mantra is F3-Faith, Family, & Fitness. I have a great sense of humor and think every day is meant to be embraced.
My favorite client story
My first client hated exercise & "diets". He was 80 pounds overweight and smoked 2 packs a day. He is now 50 pounds lighter, a non-smoker and an avid fitness lover! Plus he found ways to eat good and enjoy it. Lifestyle changes all around. Love his saying- " I quit smoking and lost weight" not the other way around.
My favorite exercise
I have 4 favorite exercises: Squats. Lunges. Push ups. Planks. You can create a full body workout with these 4 moves and the options for variety will make each workout effective.
My favorite quote
"If you do what you always did, you get what you always got"
My training philosophy
My philosophy is that you get out of life what you put into it. This goes double for your health. I love to train hard and sweat buckets but that's me. I make sure every client has a plan that is fits them, if it's not enjoyable we won't do it. My goal is for you to get results and LIKE it!
My training experience
In the past 10 years I went from being a student in group exercise classes to finding my passion by obtaining a degree in personal training, nutritional sciences and becoming a group instructor in several different formats, including the newly released Insanity for the Gym. Getting healthy to live a better, more productive life is the reason behind my passion and sharing it with other and helping them is my mission.

A year ago I was 320 pounds and about to turn 60. I knew I had to make a change if I wanted to have a long and active retirement. I turned to FYT and picked Steph. Little did I know at the time that this would be such a powerful and life changing decision. Stephanie asked me what my goals were. I started small, I wanted to be able to take my shirt off at the beach and not be embarrassed. Self esteem is a powerful force. Steph designed a plan that includes aerobic and weight training along with nutrition counseling. It has been a little over a year and I am down 75 pounds, I have changed my eating habits. My soft goals are far behind me, I look forward to going to the beach. Now I have my eyes on my reach goal of getting down to my high school weight. I am 6”4 and am comfortable with 220. I decided to have Stephanie train me at my house. This took away opportunity to blow off the training. I suggest when you are ready to change your life, you do the same. Stephanie cares about her clients, she send encouragement during the week. Hire Stephanie and begin your metamorphosis and regain your strength and energy. I keep telling Stephanie that she has made a difference in my life. I do believe that that her goal.
