About Neil

Hey I’m Neil. I became a trainer because I learned that with consistant exercise I can drastically improve someone life. Thats not a hyperboly; When done properly, exersice can heal injuries, improve your mood, regulate eating habits, and so much more. My personal experience with fitness started off with sports, then after high school I fell in love with strength training and CrossFit. While in the Army, I was fortunate enough to be selected as 1 of 15 members of the Army CrossFit team where I competed on behalf of the Army. It was during these years I learned nutrition was more than chicken and rice, and that 6 hours of sleep wasn’t enough recovery for the stress I was putting on my body. I quickly noticed how nutrition and recovery fueled not only my workouts, but life in general. As I dug deeper and received my Precision Nutrition Certification I found ways to simplify living a healthy lifestyle so that anyone could sustain it for life and still enjoy the things they love! I then attained my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) to understand the why behind exercise and what the different body types need to do in order to perform better or reach specific performance goals.


My favorite client story

My favorite story comes from a client of mine who came to me because she barely ate any food but couldn't lose weight; She couldn't complete 15 squats without getting fatigued and siting down due to lack of energy. She didn't know what she was doing wrong, but she chose to trust me when I told her I wanted to help. Through a few changes in diet, and 3 x 45min of exercise a week, in 6 months she lost 18lbs of fat and put on 8lbs of muscle. Now, 1 year later she's leaned up even more, is deadlifting 165lbs and squatting with 50lbs for 15reps (a feat she never though possible for her) and has a goal to get even stronger in 2024. It's these stories that bring me fulfillment in what I do. You have no idea what they are actually capable of, but I'd love the opportunity to be the person that shows you.

My favorite exercise

My own training background is CrossFit, so I love HIIT style workouts. My favorite exercise though is the power clean. It's so good for power development but not something every needs to learn.

My training philosophy

You don't need to have perfect form to benefit from exercise, but you do need to be able to move your body in a safe way. If you can't move safely, we find something else to do. That being said, we're not going to ignore that limitation, were going to work on improving it.

My training experience

I started sports when I was 5, ran triathlons from the age of 16, got into CrossFit and MMA when I graduated High School and have been doing some form of strength training ever since.

Neil has been training my wife and I for a year. We were absolute beginners without a training/fitness background. Neil is a miracle worker. Through years of bad form, non-existent stretching, and the belief that I was getting older with "bad joints", I had developed pretty intense pain in my right knee that prohibited me from performing deep squats. Previous trainers would either ignore my complaints and have me push through the pain, prohibit certain exercises, or modify the exercises, but Neil addressed the pain. How? By addressing weakness and low range of motion in my hips and ankles. Through a regimen of banded walks, side plank leg lifts, curtsy squats, and other exercises targeting my abductors, my knee pain is virtually gone. He is worth every penny.
