About Exy-Fable

I am an encouraging, inclusive Trauma-informed coach for all bodies, genders, and people.


My style of coaching is to create an encouraging and fun environment for my people. I focus on injury prevention and pain management (then we move into #beastmode, or maybe #wegotoffthecouchmode) I train virtually and in-person. My vibe is encouraging, understanding, and trauma-informed.


With trauma-informed coaching I am attuned to sensory needs, fight/flight/fawn responses, and triggers. I will always listen and respect what is said about feelings and needs. We will work on specific exercises based on your body’s responses (including fight/flight/fawn), and eventually this can push your window of tolerance. This means, we will create a safe space and when you’re ready, use exercises to expand your ability to handle stress without slipping into old patterns.


I offer training virtually 1:1, group workouts, and group coaching. Group coaching creates community where we motivate each other, and check in with weekly zoom calls


I work with seniors, LGBT folx, Neurodiverse people, and a variety of body types and fitness levels. My goals are for my people to feel seen, safe, and valid while we work to improve their quality of life. I use authenticity and thoughtful encouragement to create a plan of mindfulness, and movement, regardless of fitness level, gender, or body type.

I had no athletic background, no idea how to use gym machines, no idea about proper form or how many reps to do, etc. Bree was super-patient and understanding, worked around the fact that my abdomen was still healing, and let me take breaks when I needed to. Before long, I started getting stronger, and my form got better really fast. I now look more toned and can fit into my clothes better, but more importantly, I FEEL better–it’s amazing how working on your core even helps your posture when you have a desk job! Since then, I have been bringing my friends along for buddy sessions and they have all been impressed with my progress. If you want to get in shape but you’re embarrassed to get started, or don’t think of yourself as a rah-rah “sporty” type, I highly recommend Bree–she is down-to-earth, empathetic, and knows her stuff.

Bree is the perfect blend of pushing you to do your best, but not making you feel bad about yourself if you bump up against your limits, which is an ideal trait in a trainer. She motivates you to get better every session, and changes up the workouts as you get stronger and your body changes. The attention Bree devotes to you during a session is great, and not something you can get just anywhere. She watches carefully to make sure that you're doing the exercises properly so as to not get injured and also pays attention to see where you're tight, and recommends stretches and other exercises to fix the problem. Bree is exactly what I needed to start back on the road to fitness; to make working out fun and to have someone keep me accountable.
