Being in the Fitness Industry for 30 years has allowed me to acquire a lot of knowledge and experience on how to help people look and feel their best! I started out with a degree in economics and worked in banking for a short while. I realized that I was happiest when moving and dancing; as it helped me tone down anxiety. It still does, and movement is my potion for feeling good, which I love to share!!
One of my greatest fascinations in life is with the Mind-Body connection. I feel that we are complex beings and as such we need individual and holistic solutions.
Alignment is paramount for optimal health! Misalignment can create a myriad of issues in the body, so finding good alignment is the first needed layer before increasing activity. My M.S specialization was in Corrective Exercises which trained me to find the dysfunctions in people's bodies and help correct them and find the best possible alignment.
My training in Movement Analysis helps me understand the qualities of movements that clients are missing and need to have added to their routines to improve well-being.
Being trained in energy work, healing and meditation, assists me in helping individuals incorporate changes from an energetic or spiritual level. If there is no alignment at a deeper level, changes will not hold.
The training that I have acquired in coaching has helped me understand how to best support someone in their journey of change.
