I have nearly 30 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Field. My experience includes over two decades of Health care experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Nevada. The experience includes many different settings including rehab, skilled nursing, long term care, home health, and out patient. While working in these settings many of my patients would ask if I could come home with them when Therapy was done; hence I started my own Company called LIFE IN MOTION PERSONAL TRAINING. This company travels to the clients home or gym and specializes in post-rehab and senior fitness.
My favorite client story
My favorite client story is a recent story of an incredible 83 year old. His determination and positive attitude are so inspiring. To sum it up, when I met him he could barely sit on the edge of the bed without falling over and he lived in a group home. After about a year of working hard he was able to move from the group home to live with his daughter and is able to walk a mile with a walker. His story is on my website.
My favorite exercise
There are many favorite specific exercises for me but my most favorite form of exercise is hiking. I love being outside and exploring.

My training experience
I've been a personal trainer for 20 years and a licensed physical therapy assistant for over 26 years. I've had the privilege to work with many people some who have health challenges but yet want to become healthy and move. It does not take hard exercises or a difficult workout program to become healthy and or be able to move more. My goal is to keep all generations active.

If you are looking for a qualified and dedicated trainer and who gives you her undivided attention during the sessions, then Tammy is for you. With her knowledge of various work outs, including some pilates and yoga, each session could be different and more interesting. Because I am lacking motivation, her pleasant manner to get me going was the right match for me. There is no doubt her encouragement resulted in feeling better, greater core strength, balance and overall a better me! She is able to work with any special needs and personalize the sessions to accommodate those areas which need improvement. In my case, It was pretty much everything! Finding a trainer you can work with for many years is rare and I am glad I found Tammy. She is a total profession and and is always up to date with new work outs or technique. I'm blessed to have her in my life.
After a long period of time without exercise, I was weak, losing my balance and couldn't walk up a flight of stairs without puffing. Then I re-connected with Tammra Brunner who has worked with me off and on from around 1995. Twice a week we are working to help me get back in shape. Tammy is patient but persistent throughout the session. She knows just how to help me with balance and strengthening. Each session is planned to encourage me to work hard. Our next goal is to have me get up from the floor without hanging on to any piece of furniture. I know it will happen soon!
Tammra has been working with me off and on for many years. She is an expert in her field and continues to keep herself educated with courses to learn various aspects of her business. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to working with senior citizens. She is a dedicated and compassionate trainer who strives to see that her clients become the "best version of themselves". When you are looking for a trainer it certainly is a plus to have someone come to the comfort of your own home. Tammra is definitely a five star trainer.
I have been lucky enough to have met Tammy 13 years ago and was able to keep myself stable, even though I’m in a wheelchair. I feel I couldn’t have done it without Tammy. My husband finally got on board for the last 3 years or so, and we workout side by side now. He tells everyone that will listen “Im a believer now, exercise does work! and he feels better than he has in years!” She is always smiling and ready to encourage us. She’s a pleasure to be around.
I met Tammy at a networking group many years ago. From the moment I met her, she made me feel like she genuinely cared about me and whatever I was wanting to accomplish. I decided to hire her to help get me into a healthier place; and that was one of the best decisions I ever made. The fact that she is a genuinely sweet person should not let you think that she's not a tough trainer though! She has a way of gently pushing you to higher fitness levels than you thought possible. So if you're looking to improve your fitness in an empowering, positive way, I would highly recommend Tammy!!

I have been working out with Tammy for about a year, and can affirm that she is an amazing trainer. She is very professional and knowledgeable, with several years of experience and lots of certifications. I love that she has the physical therapy background, I believe this put her much ahead of other trainers. I started working out because I wanted to feel better and healthier, and Tammy classes are just perfect. I feel very energetic and stronger after my workouts, which is important for a mom with a full time job. Not mentioning that she is absolutely a pleasure to be around and to talk to. The class goes by so fast. I highly recommend her.
