My name is Chelsi and I am the owner of Body by Chels. I specialize in strength training, corrective excercise, flexibility training and stretching. I have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and absolutely LOVE the human body and how it functions. This is my calling, purpose and passion. I am passionate to help you understand your body, how it works and how to be at your optimal health! I encourage every client to listen to their body and to give it what it needs along with pushing you to burn fat and tone up your muscles. I also believe that food is medicine and I offer Nutrition Coaching to help clients eat the right foods for their health and their goals. I have over 16 years of experience working as a Personal Trainer and would LOVE to help you!
My sessions go as follows- we do a warm up routine the first 5 minutes, we then push weights for the next 30 minutes and finish with 10 mintues of felxiblity training and stretching, along with breathwork and affirmations. I am passionate in overall health and wellness and if youre comfortable with affirmations I will lead you into speaking life over your body at the end of the workout! YOU WILL FEEL AMAZING!!!
I have found that virtual training has become the most convenient and affective for people especially after COVID. We can stiil have very affective workouts with minimal equipment and through a screen. I offer Virtual, Gym sessions (In Nashville, TN) and some in home sessions.
My favorite client story
Her name is Kristi, she is an amazing human being. She lost 100 lbs, healed both achillies tendons as they were both injured, she came in the gym in a wheel chair and a year later was slowly jogging on her feet. Her mobility increased tremendously during our time together. She battled a past addiction, had 2 gastric bypass surgeries that really negatively affected her natural digestive process. We healed her internally so she could eat food without getting acid reflux. Kristi is amazing and her results came from her commitment, determination and perseverance especially on hard days.

My training philosophy
If you are willing to look within, identify the need, love yourself no matter what and commit to overcome anything as all things are possible. Training is simply an Avenue to love yourself, build strength from the inside out and overcome obstacles. As long as you are willing to do your absolute best, you will always win.
My training experience
I have been training since my senior year in high school and for me it began as an avenue to overcome anxiety and depression. Ever since it has been an avenue to love myself, strengthen myself from the inside out and overcome the obstacles life brings. I just share my passion that has changed my life with others. I specialize in strength training, corrective exercise and healing injuries and natural pain management.
