After many years of experience as a martial arts instructor and yoga teacher, I'm now offering Fitness and Health Coaching services for long-term results! I have taught adults of all ages as well as teens and kids, both one-on-one and in small group and large class settings. I also have experience teaching and coaching online using a variety of platforms.
I'm a third degree black belt in Japanese Jujutsu, a first degree black belt in japanese sword (iaido), and have completed two 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified trainings in both Hot Yoga and Power Yoga. I am also certified to teach Yoga Sculpt and Restorative Yoga, and am completing Health Coach Certification with ACE.
Fitness and Health Coaching is a three-tiered approach: as a client, you will receive a personal, customized plan to improve your physical fitness, guide your nutritional wellness, and implement behavioral changes such as stress reduction and meditation. I will conduct a complete wellness evaluation so that we can collaborate on a weekly plan which will include one-on-one sessions and regular progress check-ins. The ultimate goal is to guide the client to autonomy so that you will have the tools to maintain your fitness and wellness for long-term benefits.
