I was a dancer for 8 years and have a background in martial arts. I have a passion for movement and work with a lot of people that are struggling with mobility issues.

I love working with Mayu! I used to be active when I was younger, but haven't worked out in many years. So I was hesitant to join a gym and didn't know where to start. Mayu took time to get to know me and my health issues and came up with a fun workout plan for me. She is attentive and checks in with me regularly. She listens and adjusts our workouts if needed. I couldn't ask for more - I'm very glad I found her.

Mayu is an absolutely fantastic motivator, always creative and very knowledgeable on techniques, balance, and safety. I wanted a trainer who could motivate me to use the gym I have available, show me new workouts at my gym, and in general help me plan my fitness better. We've been working together for 6 months and Mayu has succeeded at it all. I'm always happier after the workout - even if I'm tired or it's been a busy day at work, Mayu's attitude and ability to shuffle through her catalogue of workouts always keeps sessions fresh and fun. I would previously avoid exercises because I didn't know the form, or would overload weight too quickly and allow my form to suffer, but working with Mayu, we've been able to target my form and correct some of those problems. I have also had previous sport injuries, and Mayu has been phenomenal at working around troublesome areas, while targeting muscle strength to help support them at the same time. I work with Mayu between sessions of martial arts, and she adds in exercises for strength and balance that directly benefit my skills in the martial art. Her catalogue of exercises really makes a difference when looking to target specific work, it keeps things interesting every time. Thanks Mayu!
