About Noah
Whatever goal you have it is important to me that we achieve it beyond your expectations. Breaking down every goal and finding realistic ways to achieve them is our first step. It is also important that fitness is fun for you while working towards achieving your goals. Fitness is not only about looking better but feeling better as well. The positive changes go way beyond the physical aspects. Using exercise to improve quality of life is priceless. After seeing how fitness affects every aspect of my life in a positive way, I decided this was something I had to share with others.
My training philosophy is to keep training simple and effective. Initially, assessing with posture screens and movement screens we will use these results to design a workout program specifically for you. That way we minimize the risk of injury by safely progressing you towards compound movements. It is also important to incorporate some mobility, strength, and endurance aspects into our workouts to have a well rounded fitness routine. How much we focus on each aspect depends on your goals.
Here is some background information on me. Living an active lifestyle is important to me. Whenever I have some free time I am usually doing something active or researching more information on exercise (there is a lot of information out there!). If I'm not doing either of those things I spend my time doing normal everyday activities such as seeing friends, spending time with family, going out to eat, listening to music, or just finding ways to enjoy my time.
My father was a bodybuilder and so was my grandfather. So, at age 12 I asked my father to show me how to use free weights. After my first workout I have not stopped ever since. With 11 years of consistent training and proper nutrition I feel confident in my ability to help others. While utilizing the skills I learned over the years in the gym and school we have an endless amount of resources to get you to achieve your goals!

When I first started working with Noah I had not been to a gym for quite some time. I was healing from a back injury when I sought out a trainer. I worked out with a different trainer who I liked a lot. So I was a little nervous about trying someone new. Right from day one Noah eased my anxiety. He was friendly, understanding and really catered to my injuries. He was very careful to plan a workout that would get me stronger without re-injuring my back. Once he knew where my fitness level was and how my body responded, he then varied my workouts, always making them different so I would not get bored. He knew when to challenge me with more difficult exercises and was always encouraging and in a great mood. He is easy to talk and joke around with- he made working out fun. I noticed how much strength I gained in a short time working out with him. It was so freeing getting back to the gym and gaining confidence again. I highly recommend Noah for anyone’s training needs. I trained with him for over a year. He is a knowledgeable, wonderful trainer and an all around great person.
I have been working with Noah for about 18 months, and it has been a great experience. From the beginning he was always focused on my personal goals and ensuring that we were meeting them. He is good at progressing exercises in a productive and safe way. I can always easily understand the progress I am making. Noah is good at paying special attention to ensuring that nothing hurts, including my areas of challenge like my knee and elbow. Exercise should be fun, not painful. In fact Noah has gone out of his way to find exercises that not only don't hurt my knee, but actually help it. Noah is incredibly knowledgeable as a Personal Trainer and patiently answers all of my questions. I highly recommend his services to anyone at any fitness level and you will be sure to get the results that you are looking for.
I have struggled with my weight and my body image my entire life. It didn’t matter if I was wearing a size 0 or a size 10, I have not been able to find happiness or confidence in my body. I have tried all different types of dieting and gyms but was never able to find a regiment that I could happily stick with for longer than 3 months at a time. After having a rough pregnancy with my second daughter I decided that things truly needed to change for my happiness and my health. As soon as I got the green light from my doctor, I signed up for personal training sessions. I have been seeing Noah 3 times a week now for about 8 months. At this point in time, I feel stronger, more energetic and more confident in not only how my body looks but also with its abilities. Noah has made it a point to reassure me of my progress along the way. Noah makes every session as fun and interesting as they can be, from mixing up the workouts to being great company and conversation, the hour just flies right by. I will recommend Noah to anyone that is looking for a trainer who is patient, knowledgeable, incredibly personable and very adaptive. I even got my husband to start training with Noah!
I came to Noah in order to overcome a plateau in my fitness journey. He created a program to overcome that plateau and had a unique approach for my fitness goals, I liked how everything was not an umbrella approach, everything was adapted to meet my fitness goals. My experience overall has been great, at first my goal was to overcome a plateau in my fitness journey. With the help of Noah I was able to find something I enjoyed (powerlifting). I've also gained so much knowledge along the way with the help of Noah. I would recommend Noah to anyone who is looking to overcome any fitness plateaus or reach particular fitness goals.
I started working with Noah Wilder two years ago after my previous trainer left. Noah took great care to understand my fitness goals and history. He made the transition from my previous trainer very smooth and seamless. As we continued to work together, I was impressed with Noah’s enthusiasm in developing exercise routines that would meet my primary goal of joint mobility in my ongoing struggle with rheumatoid arthritis. Noah carefully explained how certain exercises would strengthen certain areas and always had an accommodation if something didn’t work well. He made careful notes and remembered things like “that right knee doesn’t like sideways motion”. He would check in after an exercise with “How was that? Too heavy? Too light?” and tailored the workout based on the answers. Over time, Noah developed a good sense of what I could and could not do. I observed him do the same with other clients too on days when I was at the gym on my own. Also, Noah’s enthusiasm for his work is contagious. He always acknowledged me with a “Brenda is in the house!” when I arrived at the gym, even if it was a day we were not working together. On mornings when I was dragging, that cheerful greeting picked me up and got me into the mood to work. During our workouts, Noah would chat and ask me questions about what was happening in my life. We talked about our families and jobs and random thoughts on life. The conversations were always engaging and made the workouts fly by. Over the last year, I struggled with health issues that occasionally limited my ability to work out. Noah was extremely supportive, discussing the issues and helping me understand some of the physical things that might be happening because of my conditions. He always reminded me that it would get better, or pointed out how far I had come when I would get frustrated. His support kept me going through some very difficult days. I would highly recommend Noah Wilder as a personal trainer. I certainly enjoy his engaging style, careful planning, and caring manner.
I had a desire to work out and gain strength, but a lack of motivation and knowledge of how to best use the time I had available. Noah provided an easy, accessible source of positivity, motivation and knowledge that allowed me to not only maximize the benefits of the short time I had available to work out, but also to enjoy it and look forward to it. Noah approached each workout with a positive attitude and was focused not only on making sure I made the most of my time there, but also that I continued to enjoy it, ensuring that this has been the longest continuous stretch of weightlifting I've ever experienced. He reached out before and after every workout to check in and made each of his clients feel special. Noah's strong push to make each training session personal and to develop a strong bond is what gave me the motivation to keep coming back. That, along with the GAINS! The experience as a whole was wonderful. I truly value the time I was able to spend with Noah over the past year.
