About Sue
For those who do not know me, exercise and helping others achieve their goals is my passion. I am a senior citizen who loves working out! Do not let that put you off, check out my favorite tee-shirt, it says it all!
I was born in Birmingham, England in 1945, just at the end of WW11. My journey in the USA started in 1985 when I obtained a green card. From then, I become a very proud naturalized citizen in 1996.
My work experience varies from 20 + years of teaching in England, Europe and the USA to a GIS specialist/Senior Engineering Technician in transmission design for a large utility company.
In 2008, I quit smoking after forty years, but the year following, I put on forty pounds!!!
After I retired in 2009, I decided that having to buy an even bigger size pants was not an option and signed up with a gym and a trainer. It took almost another year to lose that extra weight.
After two years, I realized that I too could help people and that led to me becoming a personal trainer.
I have equipment in my home for cardio, resistance and weights. I can also come to your home or apartment.
Let me help you achieve those goals!
My favorite client story
Trained a 40+ year old who wanted to run her first half marathon! And...she did it.
My favorite exercise
Several, many with a stability ball, some with a medicine ball, some with no equipment.
My favorite quote
There is no such word as CAN'T in my dictionary... but there is TRY.

I've worked with Sue for two weeks, now, and cannot believe how much progress I've made. At 72 I wasn't looking for a body-building coach. I just wanted to increase strength and flexibility. Sue plans each session beforehand based on my goals and her current assessments. The sessions are well-planned; Sue pushes me but not to a point where I want to quit. She varies the exercises so the hour passes more quickly than I'm aware. And, she is very nice.
