I help my clients feel great and look it too. I specialize in weight loss, pain reduction, and improving your fitness and nutrition. 


I provide automated nutrition coaching (Precision Nutrition Certified) to help with your physique and nutrition goals if you want to lose weight, gain some muscle, or tone up. 


If you are interested in burning fat, gaining some muscle, or sports performance, I provide individualized programming (even with group settings) to make sure your programming fits your needs. I go through a thorough assessment and consultation to make sure I understand exactly what you want, need, and where you are coming from. That's why I offer a free consultation and assessment.

Ever had any hip, back, neck, shoulder, or knee irritation or pain? If so, you've found the right trainer. I use the Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), and Movement Systems Impairment Syndromes (MSIS) methodologies.

My favorite client story

My training philosophy

Focus on the basics. This includes your posture, exercise technique, big basic compound movements, conditioning, recovery, and your nutrition. If you get all those in line, you'll hit your goals.

My training experience

Like my training philosophy says, I focus on the basics. I train 6 days a week with three days of strength training (focusing on the big basic compound exercises), do conditioning the other three days a week. A low body fat percentage is easy with consistent training and good nutrition.

When I'm doing a new workout, he makes sure I know exactly why I'm doing it—what benefits it will have and how we're going to track progress. The result is continual improvement and no plateaus. Over the years I have used a few different trainers. Von is the ONLY one I would recommend!! He is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, great teacher, listens to my needs and works well with me. He is very good at working the muscles in a way that shows great results but I was never sore from the workouts. He really watched my form so I was doing the exercises correctly and I would not have any injuries. When I pointed out a previous injury I had or a problem area I was concerned about he was creative with the exercises to work the muscles to improve or protect the problem area. I was so impressed with how the smaller muscles began to pop out and show definition over the course of time I worked out with him. I liked the training room we used because it was very small and personable as I don't like working out in large gyms with a lot of people.
