I have multiple sclerosis and decided to quit giving up. I lost 50, no longer wear an eye patch or leg brace. I can speak so others can understand me. I have been able to stand on my own and even walk a little. I don't aspirate when I swallow and so much more. That inspired me to help others to achieve similar goals. Most of my clients are seniors. It's a joy to help people attain their goals and get healthier. I really like training at senior centers and apartment settings that have their own fitness facilities.
My favorite client story
That's very difficult. I see the most successes in my group senior classes. It's fun to see ages up to 89 improve their strength and balance.
Working with clients for several months and seeing them improve their health is very exciting.

Triceps push downs with rope on cable machine.
My favorite quote
"You've got to crawl before you can run." I got that from a friend because I was never patient in attaining my goals.
My training philosophy
There is no excuse for not exercising.
My training experience
I have been a fitness coach and personal trainer at a YMCA while training while doing some in-home personal training and teaching my two weekly classes. One class is a strength training class at a senior center and the other is a senior 'fall prevention' class at a health club.
