I'm passionate about helping others reach their fitness goals while creating a healthy and sustainable environment. I enjoy getting to know individuals and helping them find a variety of ways to overcome obstacles and strive for a realistic goal. I do not believe in quick fixes but instead I believe in long term solutions for an overall healthier lifestyle. I have had many years experience training a variety of people and groups- from large group fitness classes, small group training, couples training, strength and conditioning for high school volleyball girls and a multi-cultural group from various countries. With the right mind-set everyone is trainable.
I work from in-home settings, in the gym and outdoors.
I personally have overcome lower back injuries, hip problems and I understand what it takes to create a healthier and pain free life. I understand the importance of nutrition and have experience giving guidance for weight loss or muscle gain.
I received my education from the University of MN-Duluth and the University of WI-Superior, earning magna cum laude with my Bachelors of Science Degree focusing in exercise science and community health. I personally am an avid hiker and I enjoy rollerblading, bike riding and kayaking. I have participated and done well in many sprint triathlons, a few half marathons and numerous 5-k's. I have also competed in bodybuilding shows as a bikini competitor earning my spot as a NANBF (IFPA) Bikini Professional.

I have been working with Terry for over a year now, and I'm so happy I hired her to be my trainer.I feel better than I have in years thanks to her! I felt more confident working out in my own home, so she comes to my home 1-2x weekly. She also has helped me with meal prepping. I’m honestly honoured to write a review about Terry. I met her in an abroad military deployment where she was tasked with army stuff. Also, she was willing to help in macros and nutritions for the soldiers and Terry took fitness classes for applicants. Since Terry invited me to visit her hometown in Duluth, I could see her professionalism while she was training her group fitness clients and individual clients as well. I personally don’t believe my eyes sometimes when I see her energy and passionate. I've had Terry as a personal trainer for 3 months. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and training. She stays involved as the weeks continue. It's not all about the number you see on the scale, so she makes you take note of how you're feeling. I feel more energized and can lean out while eating carbs. No strict, crazy dieting. Just clean and healthy eating! I would recommend her to anyone!
