Tyler Bass
About Tyler
I’m Tyler Bass, and my life has been shaped by an unwavering passion for sports and nutrition. From my earliest years, I played three sports—wrestling, baseball, and football—all the way through college, where I dedicated four years to college football as a running back and special teams player at Luther College.
During my time at Luther, I achieved recognition as the 16th-best player in the nation for punt and kick returns, and even received an opportunity from the Kansas City Chiefs. Unfortunately, a serious clavicle break on my 21st birthday dashed my NFL dreams. However, this setback ignited a deep dive into kinesiology and exercise science as I continued to play another year.
Following graduation, I faced a pivotal decision when I was recruited by the Milan Rhinos, a professional football team in Italy. Despite the incredible opportunity, I decided to pursue a different path, leaving me with a degree in exercise science and kinesiology along with a full year of sign language studies.
My passion for fitness and the desire to empower others led me to create At Home Fitness. Over the past decade, my company has flourished, providing personalized fitness solutions and employment opportunities for personal trainers and massage therapists. I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with renowned organizations like KARE 11 NEWS and WCCO 830 Radio.
Even amid the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, At Home Fitness has persevered, offering in-home personal training services and supporting individuals in achieving their fitness goals.
Today, I continue to inspire and educate individuals on leading healthier lives and pursuing their fitness aspirations within the comfort of their own homes. My journey stands as a testament to the power of dedication, resilience, and the ability to empower others to live healthier, happier lives.Graduating in 2010 from Luther with a Exercise Science degree helped me motivate others to reach their fitness goals.

I’m proud to reflect on my athletic journey, which has been a defining part of my life. It all began at Luther College, where I earned the honor of College Rookie of the Year. Starting as a freshman, I made my mark as a running back and special teams player. I was privileged to continue starting every year after that, contributing to my team’s success.
One of the most significant choices I faced was turning down an opportunity to play in Italy for the Milan Rhinos as a running back during my senior year of college. I made this decision because I was committed to finishing my degree in exercise science, prioritizing my education and future goals.
During my college career, I also made a name for myself nationally, ranking 16th in the nation for punt and kick returns in Luther College’s Division III football. This recognition was a testament to the hard work and dedication I put into my game.
My passion for football didn’t stop at college. I went on to play semi-pro football for three seasons, where I continued to showcase my skills and love for the sport.
My athletic journey has been filled with challenges and triumphs, and I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to grow as a player and as an individual. Sports will always be a part of my life, and the lessons I’ve learned on the field continue to shape my character and drive me in all my endeavors.
