I have been working out with Diane since August of 2001. When I started my training with her, I had not exercised properly in years. I was overweight and on my way to developing serious health problems. She encouraged me gently and my strength and health returned without Diane hurting me or making me feel guilty. She is my hero, my life saver and now my friend. She is a great motivator and I happily refer my friends and patients to her.”

Diane defines devotion to clients and dedication to work (or rather, her calling). I came to her with one goal: to regain the athletic life I had before being diagnosed with three chronic illnesses by my early 30s. Through our twice daily “symptom check ins” and our once weekly in-person workouts, Diane has shown me not only that the “old me” still exists but also that together we can create a new path to get there. Despite thinking I knew my body’s signs, she has shown me how to dig deeper into each signal and to identify how exercise -- and life in general -- affects my symptoms. Rather than just creating a workout plan, she explains the rationale behind each exercise, focuses on proper form, and analyzes how each movement affects my body. This makes me feel safe; moreover, it gives me hope that even when the steps seem small, we are progressing towards my goals. Her ever-positive attitude is never forced and never fake. She has become for me not just a trainer but also a life coach and, most importantly, a friend. I never expected someone who I approached to help me return to squats and sprints could also help me start to regain my spirit.

Diane Lemke has been enormously helpful to me. I came to her with a painful knee, a bad hip and a sore shoulder. She has helped me with all of them, to the point where I am now virtually pain-free. I am much stronger and have more endurance. Most importantly, she accomplished all this without letting me re-injure myself.

I highly recommend Diane Lemke as a medical fitness expert. I have had multiple schlerosis since 1987. Since that time, I have had multiple personal trainers. All were cookie cutter variations of the same. Diane came to me a year ago and raised the bar immediately. She had me take off my shoes and examine my feet; lift my shirt and examine my back; walk and examine my gait. After evaluation, she set up a management plan. From the onset, clearly she was different—aware, knowledgeable,, confident. Under her diligent care, we have seen results—strength, stability, endurance. Gradual measurable improvement. Diane is outstanding--a caring, superior trainer. She is reliable and punctual—a plus for my type A personality. I recommend Diane without reservation.

I will be 94 years old, and I neither feel it or look it, in large part due to Diane Lemke. I have been her client for several months and have benefitted greatly from her sessions. As a physician I’m struck by her knowledge of anatomy and her adherence to sound physiologic principles. She is able to extract a physical performance from me that I did not think possible through encouragement and a certain amount of appropriate tough mindedness. In particular, I’ve had a tremendous improvement in my balance and this manifests itself throughout my day. In all respects i feel she is an exemplary therapist and I feel fortunate to be her client.

Because of my work with Diane Lemke over the last four years I am stronger now, in my late 60’s, than I have ever been and I have learned so much! Diane’s focus on form, safety and her willingness and ability to answer all my questions (I was never an athlete) have given me confidence and motivation. Every session is different; there is no deadly routine, only challenge and fun. Diane enjoys and respects her clients and has an uncanny ability to customize every training session to her clients’ individual needs and personalities. She is a master teacher and she has changed my life.
