About Ashley

Hi, I'm Ashley! I'm an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and indoor cycling instructor with over 13 years of experience helping people build confidence, improve their fitness, and create healthy habits that last. My approach focuses on meeting clients where they are, whether they are brand new to exercise, returning after a break, or looking for accountability and motivation to stay consistent. I believe fitness should be challenging, enjoyable, and sustainable, not intimidating. I specialize in functional strength training, indoor cycling, beginner fitness, weight training, weight loss support, core, accountability coaching, and helping adults develop realistic exercise routines that fit into busy lives. My goal is to provide encouragement, guidance, and personalized support so clients feel stronger, healthier, and more confident both in and out of the gym. I offer virtual coaching and training and look forward to helping you reach your goals.

My favorite client story

One of my favorite client memories is celebrating a member named Cindy during one of my cycling classes. Cindy is a breast cancer survivor, and we organized a special ride to honor her anniversary of being cancer-free. The celebration happened during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which made it even more meaningful.
The entire class came together wearing pink, sharing words of encouragement, and riding in support of Cindy and everyone whose lives have been touched by breast cancer. The energy in the room was incredible. It wasn't about calories burned or personal records that day—it was about community, strength, gratitude, and celebrating a remarkable milestone.
Watching everyone rally around Cindy and seeing how much the support meant to her was truly powerful. Moments like that remind me why I love being a fitness instructor. Fitness has the ability to bring people together, create meaningful connections, and celebrate life's victories both big and small.

My favorite exercise

My favorite style of training is a combination of strength training, cardio, and bodyweight exercises. I love creating workouts that challenge the body in different ways while keeping things fun and engaging.
As a cycling instructor, cardio is a big part of my fitness routine, but I also believe strength training is essential for building muscle, improving overall health, and maintaining long-term fitness. Bodyweight exercises are another favorite because they are effective, versatile, and can be done anywhere with little to no equipment.
By combining these training styles, I help clients improve their strength, endurance, balance, and confidence while avoiding boredom and keeping workouts fresh. I believe fitness should be well-rounded, enjoyable, and sustainable for life.

My training philosophy

My training philosophy is simple: fitness should be effective, enjoyable, and sustainable. I believe the best workout program is one that fits your lifestyle and keeps you coming back consistently.
I focus on progress over perfection and encourage my clients to celebrate every victory, whether it's lifting a little heavier, riding a little farther, or simply showing up on a day when motivation is low. Fitness isn't about being perfect—it's about building healthy habits that support your goals and improve your quality of life.
I also believe exercise should be empowering, not intimidating. My goal is to create a positive, supportive environment where clients feel challenged, encouraged, and confident in their abilities. By combining strength training, cardio, and functional movement, I help clients build both physical and mental strength that carries over into everyday life.
Most importantly, I want my clients to enjoy the journey and discover what their bodies are capable of achieving.

My training experience

I have been an ACE Certified Personal Trainer since 2012 and have been teaching indoor cycling since 2013. With more than a decade of experience in the fitness industry, I have helped clients of all ages and fitness levels work toward their health and fitness goals.
My background includes personal training, indoor cycling instruction, strength training, and functional fitness. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to motivate and support hundreds of individuals, whether they were just beginning their fitness journey or looking to take their training to the next level.
I believe fitness should be both challenging and enjoyable, and I strive to create a positive, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable, motivated, and empowered. My goal is to help people build strength, improve endurance, gain confidence, and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.
