About Maria
Hi, my name is Maria DeCesare. I am an ACE certified personal trainer with 15 years experience helping people improve their overall health and fitness and athletes improve sports performance. Since then, I have been working with clients in all age groups, youth to older adults. My method of training includes a variety of exercises designed for beginners to the more advanced. All training sessions include mobility and flexibility work, strength training and cardiovascular conditioning.
My objectives are to create a safe and effective workout for each client's individual needs. Sessions are held in a private gym or online virtual training.

Maria is the greatest trainer anyone could ever wish for. Very professional, dedicated, most interested in providing the highest level of personalized workout adopted from experts in the field.
I'm a 69-year- old woman who has been training with Maria for 3+ years now. She really knows her stuff! She takes pains to stay current with professionals online and elsewhere and is a continuous learner. As you probably know, various exercises are embraced by the training world, only to be discredited a few years later as the injuries start to show up. Maria uses her extensive knowledge of the body and her research to stay ahead of this curve, providing an extra layer of safety while also keeping workouts fresh and updated. Maria really cares about her clients, too. She has seen me through a knee replacement and an auto accident which affected my shoulder, always checking in with me about what I'm feeling and modifying the exercises so that I get maximum benefit as I heal. I can't recommend her enough!

My goals were to improve my strength, balance and flexibility. Maria developed a specific program to fit my age (75+) and my goals. Maria and I have achieved all of these goals. I have been training with Maria for about six years. I am in my early 60s, and have had some issues with knee and back injuries. When I started I had back pain, no upper arm strength, and was pretty stiff. She focused a lot on improving my flexibility and endurance. She is very cautious with injured or painful areas. Her workouts are tailored to one’s personal needs. They are challenging; she encourages you to push yourself, but is mindful of any limitations. I am in better shape now than I was 20 years ago. I would highly recommend Maria!
I started 270 pounds and not feeling well of my health. I ask Maria what can I do to start my journey she thought me so much it open my eyes to so many things like from nutrition labels and learning how to read them to exercise programs that’s best fit me starting slow with light weights to great programs heavy weights that never could do myself. Well today at 160 pounds feeling amazing can’t tell you how amazing and perfect the journey was for me thanks again Maria for all you do and how well you do it and giving someone the strength and support!

Maria trains my 13 yr. old son. He is an aspiring athlete. Could not ask for a better trainer to teach the foundation and correct form to prevent injury and build speed and strength.
