I started on an entirely different career path. Earning my Bachelors degree in merchandise management I began a career in the fashion industry. After spending many unhappy hours behind a desk and a battle with depression, I decided it was time to get active and accomplish my goals. Making the decision to change careers and enter the fitness industry in 2011, I haven't looked back since. My passion for health and fitness flourished after seeing how much the world of fitness helped me clear my mind and became my safe haven.
In addition to personal training, I am also a dedicated group fitness coach. I made the choice to devote my time to assisting others lead happy, healthy, active lifestyles.
I absolutely love what I do and my clients determination and drive gives me joy in my work every day. I value my clients and enjoy working with you to improve your lives, overcome your fears, accomplish your goals, and improve your physical health and the well-being.
NOTE: My schedule is always changing and the timeslots dont always reflect accurately, there may be openings you do not see on the calendar.
My favorite exercise
Outside of work you can find me mountain biking or hiking, doing handstands in the most random location, eating way to much peanut butter or on the hunt for the worlds best gummy bear!

Im a certified personal trainer with NASM and NPTI, and also certified as an ACE Group Fitness Instructor among various other certifications. As a trainer I am dedicated to your journey, safety and well being; I will strengthen and challenge you in a fun atmosphere. I had my first session with Michele tonight and it was awesome! Looking forward to getting fit and healthy.
I love working with MaryElizabeth and Michele. I need more stars! I started working with them in December 2016. I have lost 15 pounds over the last 9 months since beginning with them. The workouts are custom to my goals and cater to my past injuries. I have been given workouts that I can do when I travel. Nutrition help has been fantastic. Support has been off the charts. I feel like I have a team 100% focused on me and what's best for me, which is what I believe most people need in their lives - at least it is what I needed. I feel better physically, mentally, emotionally and every other -ly word. I am grateful to MaryElizabeth and Michele at Underground Trainers for instilling in me the core belief that I can sustain a lifestyle change--and not just make the change and fall off the wagon (which is what I did a lot) - but make a true sustainable, feel-good-because-I-am-worthy-of-it lifestyle change. And then provide the knowledge, expertise and inspiration to help to actually do it. The improvements have translated into better family time (I'm not grumpy or feeling like crap) and improved work productivity (better work means I made money to pay for this). I have worked with trainers and signed up for gyms through out my life - and my Underground Training experience surpasses them all and has been the best investment I have ever made for myself. I have been training with Michele for about a year and she's helped me achieve my health and fitness goals while having a good time doing it. She's a great motivator, is fully versed on the most effective exercises and eating habits that can get you where you want to go. She's also amazingly supportive, caring and encouraging. I can't recommend her enough.
Michele has been instrumental in helping me achieve my fitness goals and makes every session challenging and somehow fun. She ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries. She is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more abdominal exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I would not hesitate to recommend her as your personal trainer if you want to achieve your fitness and health goals!
I’ve worked out with several trainers in the past who didn’t push me or care about my goals. I think they thought I was paying them to gossip. I came across Michele with underground trainers and thought I would give a trainer one more shot. For the first time I felt like someone was listening to my goals and what I needed to reach them. I had an injury which I was concerned about and she was able to customize my workouts to be hard enough for me to achieve my goals without causing any discomfort. I’m down 25lbs and only have 10 left to go. Thank you Michele for your dedication and pushing me this far. Can’t wait to lose the last 10 with you!!!

One of the first things I look for in a trainer is;what shape the trainer is in his or herself. One look at Michele and you know she walks the walk. I started training with her about 6 months ago and haven’t looked back since. She did all the keys things I was looking for. Especially working on my form and flexibility She has gotten me in great shape I highly recommend her!!!
