With several years experience as a running coach I have expanded the scope of my practice with an NASM Personal Trainer certification. My focus is on encouraging beginners, as well as helping people keep active as they get older. I focus on encouragement to get my clients to achieve what they never thought possible, providing challenge at an appropriate level to make sure you enjoy your workouts and to keep you free from injury. You get the added benefit of my coaching and mentoring certification to help you focus on your goals, and to help you own your future health.
My favorite client story
When my client's job introduced a fitness requirement they were worried about being able to make the grade. Timelines were tight and there was a way to go, but we chipped away at the deficit and made the required goal in time.
My favorite exercise
For cardio I obviously have to say running (it achieves results fast), but for strengthening you can't go wrong with an all body workout like squat to dumbbell presses.
