About Ryan

Hello, I'm Ryan Crandall. I've had a knack for understanding and learning about the human body and the study of how we move since I was a young boy. Many trips to the hospital E.R. with numerous sprains, strains, and fractures spurred a never-ending curiosity to learn more about why I was getting hurt and to try to understand pain better. I have an educational background in Physical Therapy, Biology, Psychology, and I love to learn in order to help my clients function and move better with less pain while also improving their strength, resilience, balance, and tolerance to activity. It's what I do, and I do it well.

In addition to being a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), I'm a Certified Fall Prevention Specialist, creator of my own unique style of yoga, author, & past educator to up and coming personal trainers. I'm one of only a few Functional Aging Specialists in the state of New Mexico from the esteemed Functional Aging Institute. Additionally, I'm also a Certified Brain Health Trainer and a Fellow of Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute. Currently, I work part time as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Sandia National Labs here in Albuquerque, New Mexico in addition to helping those aged 65+ with in home personal training in the eastern part of Albuquerque and the East mountains as my schedule permits.
