After a few years of working in finance, I became a trainer because I have experienced first hand, and through others, the multitude of physical, mental, and spiritual benefits that a progressive, well-designed training program can offer. I collaborate with individuals looking to make healthy lifestyle changes, and provide them with the necessary tools and guidance to obtain their fitness goals.
In my childhood, I enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball, inspired by my father who was a professional basketball player. I knew then that sports would always be part of my life, and as I grew older I became drawn to the union of athleticism and health. This, in combination with my penchant for helping others led me to my career path in personal training.
After graduating in the top 5% of my class at the American Academy of Personal Training in New York City, I took my first job at a high-end gym. I then had the opportunity to work with top industry leaders and gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise. After four years training, and managing a boutique personal training team, it was time to venture out on my own.
Today, in stark contrast to my days in finance, every morning I wake up excited to work with a broad spectrum of enthusiastic and motivated individuals seeking fitness training in a number of different areas. My personal philosophy is to do what you love and to always be learning. I continue to learn by attending as many seminars, conferences and fitness workshops as possible. Furthermore, I have a Master's degree in Kinesiology.
I am fluent in Spanish, French, English, and German, as well as a little Basque. I also have a degree in Languages Applied to Business, and a Master's degree in Management and Cross-Cultural Negotiations from the University of Bordeaux, France. All of which allows me to be a dedicated, multidimensional and distinct personal trainer.
My training experience
I have over 8 years experience training people with injuries and chronic diseases. I have also trained college basketball athletes, and recreational soccer players both individually and in team settings.

Conrad worked with me as a prenatal trainer during my last pregnancy, and I cannot recommend him enough. He was completely knowledgeable about any prenatal considerations or restrictions, and totally put my mind at ease about staying active during my pregnancy. While Conrad has a gentle, encouraging style as a trainer, he is 100% reliable and always kept me motivated and accountable. He even created a tailored fitness plan and schedule for me to follow in between our sessions, with my prenatal needs in mind. He additionally regularly checked in with me during the week as a constant support system. I highly recommend Conrad as a trainer whatever your need may be: regular support/motivation, or prenatal/postnatal fitness help.
Conrad is seriously the best workout I have ever done and kept doing! I have always seen results, even when I was pregnant. I worked out safely and effectively with Conrad up until 10 days before giving birth and I felt great. The focus on exercises that strengthen the core and stability have seriously improved my overall health. Plus he is a great guy and our workouts are not only fun, but always different so I never, ever get bored. Sore, for sure, but the good kind of sore! I highly recommend him and his team!
As an MD I have always been skeptical of what trainers actually know about the body but was pleasantly surprised when I found Conrad. I have been following his progressive resistance training program for the past year and have reached all my weight goals and continue to get stronger. Conrad is organized and takes the time to explain all the exercises and reasoning behind them. I now feel very confident lifting weights on my own. I definitely recommend Conrad and his team.
I love my sessions with Conrad. He's so focused and has such a warm manner. I really like the interactive part of following through and keeping up with my progress. It's so great to have someone who really cares about me and my progress. The truth is that I can only evaluate Conrad through my own progress. Having been through many fitness trainers, I find Conrad to be extremely innovative and motivating. Conrad packages exercises in creative ways so that my workouts are never repetitive. He has a sound grasp of physiology and body mechanics and explains movements thoroughly, as well as the benefits to each exercise. Lastly, he is fun and has a sense of humor - he really enjoys his work and that shows during my sessions. Great trainer!
I’ve never been an athletic person though have worked with numerous trainers over the years for weight loss. Now in my 40?s I find that I have aches and pains that prevent me from pushing through on my own for fear of a real injury. However, after just 6 weeks with Conrad I am stronger, more confident, and have much more stamina to push myself during my own workouts. Unlike the other trainers, Conrad educates me on why I’m doing each exercise, helps me to visualize the benefits of each movement, and knows when to push me further and when to hold back. His educated approach makes me feel confident in his hands and has helped me to build a strong foundation so that exercise has become a regular part of my daily routine, rather than just a means to lose weight.
