At the age of 4, Eberly began taking dance classes and found her passion for movement. She has an intuitive understanding of the body and brings a creative yet functional style to each workout. She gives clients smart workouts individualized for their particular needs that day and over time. With a holistic approach to health and wellness, Eberly helps her clients find happiness through movement and mindfulness. Her calm demeanor will help you deal with stress and anxiety, but don't be fooled...she'll still give you a killer workout! Your workout will be tailored to your current physical state and your goals and may include a combination of flexibility/mobility work (to improve your posture and alignment), strength training (to build balanced strength throughout the body), high intensity interval training (to improve your body's stress response and promote healthy body composition), and breathwork/meditation cool down (to balance the nervous system). Topping it off one of her signature stretches, you'll feel like a new person.
Her approach to teaching yoga is smart and functional, emphasizing proper alignment to build true strength and flexibility. Yoga is a powerful tool to bring the body, mind, and spirit into alignment with one's true self. Through a physical asana practice, Eberly's clients experience better body alignment and awareness as well as a sense of calm and peace. Book a yoga session to learn the basics, refine your technique, or to practice some fun poses you don't typically learn in a class setting.

I love doing yoga because it bridges mind and body through movement and stillness. It can so easily be adapted day to day, person to person to accommodate most and give you what you need in that particular moment. I take a lot of inspiration from yoga into my workouts to create movements that challenge strength, flexibility, and posture.

My training philosophy
As a trainer I believe my job is to balance giving you what you want and what you really need. Everyone has muscle imbalances and postural issues that may cause aches and pains or may not, but in the long run if such imbalances aren't addressed they will lead to discomfort at the very least. I'd be doing my clients a disservice if I didn't work to correct their posture and teach them to move more efficiently. That being said, it can be tedious and annoying work to undo deeply ingrained movement and postural patterns and a lot of people don't want that workout! So I try to find a balance of the workout you need to improve your health and the workout you want to feel good and have fun.
My training experience
I've been working in the fitness industry since 2009. I started out teaching ballet and dance cardio classes, transitioned into personal training, expanded into teaching bootcamp classes, began offering Thai Yoga Massage to complement the workouts my clients do, and most recently started teaching yoga. I am passionate about movement and health and wellness and because of that I never stop learning.

I've worked with Eberly for over 5 years now. She's a fantastic trainer who knows just how much (and when) to push you to achieve the results you're looking for. I particularly like that doesn't need weights or equipment to make sure I get a strong workout (though she certainly does know how to use everything if you have access to it). Unlike others I've worked with, she also pays a lot of attention to physical balance and posture. If you can find time on her calendar, definitely make an appointment!
Eberly Carro is no ordinary trainer. She is a unique combination of physical therapist, strength conditioner and healer. She knows and understands the body while at the same time always looks to improve her craft. My posture and core strength are markedly improved. Eberly cares deeply about her clients and doesn't go for the quick fix. Her unparalleled use of strength, yoga and overall flexibility training is incomparable.
