My passion for fitness resulted in my pursuing a certification in personal training about 12 years ago. I have to say that helping others achieve fitness and weight loss goals is so rewarding. When I accept a client I make a commitment to help them get positive results. In addition to fitness, I emphasize the importance of healthy eating and getting them to understand that my program will be a lifestyle change. Ultimately the client is responsible for their results; I’m hired to facilitate and provide the tools needed to get those results.
Currently I offer potential clients virtual one-on-one training and nutritional coaching. My certification with International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) and Precision Nutrition qualifies me to work with virtually any individual wishing to improve their fitness and nutrition. I have abundant in-depth experience with virtually every form of exercise. I have worked with most general population clients including post rehab, prenatal, postnatal and older adults.
In April of 2013 at the age of 47 I hit the fitness competition circuit competing in the Masters Bikini Division in New England Fitness America and again in July 2014 in The WBFF New York. Preparing for a fitness competition was challenging and required me to put my body through some rigorous workouts and a very strict nutrition plan. All the sacrifice and commitment comes together when you step on stage and feel so proud of what you are able to achieve.
I like to share my experiences with my female clients especially ones over 40's & 50's, I want them to understand that it’s never too late to reverse their health and get fit, I like to call it "aging backwards."

My training experience
My personal training experience goes back at least 25 years. I started with home videos and moved to having my own personal trainer and working out on my own at the gym. I have also trained for 2 fitness competitions and currently I workout at home,

Who I Especially Like Working With
I have been training with Mary for 3 months. From the initial meeting I knew she would be the catalyst I needed to help me on this journey. She always made it known that it wouldn't be easy, but worth it! With her mix of cardio and complete body workout, I quickly noticed a change in my body and most importantly my view towards exercise. She has truly been an inspiration and I'm very grateful to her. From where I started, I am thrilled to say I've lost 26 Lbs., 13 inches and 5% body fat. My journey is nowhere near complete, but with the tools and mindset that Mary has continuously taught me I will achieve it! I look forward to many more challenges and goals that she will present. In her own words "If you want to go for a walk in the park, you don't need my help." She is the real deal; intense but worth every squat, lunge skip hop and mile.

I've been working out with Mary for about 2 months now and MUST share that she is SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE and GREAT at what she does! She has all the characteristics you'd want in a trainer in my book! Reliable and EFFECTIVE because she keeps you consistent! We've worked out in the park and at my home and she's challenged me in ways where I'd NEVER imagine I'd be able to achieve! I began my post natal training program after years of avoiding the gym. Mary has been very supportive in helping me build my confidence and gradually encouraging me to push myself further.
