I became a personal trainer to help people achieve their desired fitness goals. I am a runner myself and have finished several marathons and multiple half-marathons, 10ks and 5k races, so I do know what it takes to push yourself to reach your goals.
Each client is provided with a training program designed for them. I will push and motivate you past your comfort zone in order to achieve the results you desire. I am not a boot camp type of trainer. I am more gentle in my approach in the way I train.
I understand the hard work and dedication it takes to get out there everyday and push yourself to be the best "you" that you can be. When we are not training, I am always available to my clients via email, text or phone call should they have any questions or just need a little motivation. We are partners in your fitness journey!
I love what I do and to see my clients get what they want out of their workouts and to see their success... Well there just isn't anything better than that!

Mary Ellen is a dedicated client oriented trainer. She designed a routine to strengthen my body, mind and spirit. She is patient but encourages you to achieve your potential and nothing less. I am 77 years of age have been training with Mary Ellen, in my home, twice a week for the past three years. I have the encouragement and support of both my primary physician and my cardiologist. During that time I have increased my stamina and muscle strength, and I've been better able to control my weight. Short of being dragged in chains to a gym, 'in home training' is the most effective way to force myself to exercise. Mary Ellen is a patient but stern trainer despite the moans and groans of those of us less inclined to achieve the optimum sports conditioning of marathon runners like herself. She is extremely knowledgable and able to adjust an exercise routine to suit a creaky knee or elbow. She has a great sense of humor, a wide variety of training equipment and is always prompt in rain or sleet or dark of night. I highly recommend her training.

I worked out with other trainers in the past, but never was comfortable or happy with my results. Maryellen is just amazing. She's patient, understanding, and always picks the right exercises. I feel great and in shape. I recommended Maryellen to my friends and family, and she's working out with them now for number of years. Many trainers charge big bucks but the outcome is not so great.
