I've always been active, involved in sports and I never could sit still for too long. Exercising, learning new skills and improving my health, skills and techniques are things I look forward to on a daily basis. I started training because a friend of mine that was a Personal Trainer, recommended me to get certified. Since I was continuously looking for new ways to challenge myself, learn new exercises and push myself, we thought I could do the same with others. Once I got certified, I learned to work with a variety of people with different goals and body types. I tailored the training sessions to thes pecific goals of the clients I worked with and over time, they were closer to where they envisioned themselves. I've helped clients lose weight, reduce body fat, build lean muscle tissue and learn new skills and improve techniques on numerous exercises. I've even had clients report that they were in better health, after visiting their physician.
I train with modern equipment and I prefer open space and exploring the full range of motion of the body. I find that the most effective way to train is by using our bodies as the main piece of equipment. I use diffrent methods of training that I find challenging, creative and interesting. I've been using kettlebells, TRX suspension training, calisthenics, weightlifting and other disciplines to build a strong foundation for myself and those that I work with.

My favorite exercise
My favorite exercise is the pull-up. It is simple, basic and very effective. I remember when I first started exercising, I was unable to do a single pull-up. The journey to get my first on then each one after has been amazing.
My training experience
Over 9 years of experience working with a variety of clients. I've studied Movement Science in college and I'm constantly working and looking for new ways to challenge everyone that trains with me.

After I got engaged I knew I needed to start a serious workout regime to help me get back into shape. I started running on my own occasionally and going to the gym but was not finding the results I needed. I began working with Phil in October meeting once or twice a week until June. Over that time I lost 30 pounds and had definition I did not know existed. Phil was great at making sure I didn't get bored and always pushed me to the point where I still felt motivated. He guided me on my nutrition as well and really cared about making sure I reached my goals. Phil is knowledgeable and professional and I highly recommend him for someone who wants to get the most out of their workout.
