Hi! My name is Sophia and I am NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I also have my degree in Nutrition & Exercise Science and hold a Black Belt in Japanese Jujitsu. In addition to the Martial Arts I also belonged to a powerlifting gym which really taught me a lot of things and also made me want to become a personal trainer. Throughout my whole life working out has always been my form of therapy. No matter how hard my day might be, at the end of the day spending time working on my fitness has always made me feel better not only physically but mentally as well. I also teach self defense and martial arts/boxing as well and some clients mix & match the two together. I am also a Level 1 Kettlebell Certified Trainer. In addition to training privately, I also specialize in teaching group classes as well. If you are interested in doing a duet or semi-private (3 or 4 people) I have a lot of experience with creating group workouts.

I’m the type who doesn’t feel like I need a trainer, I’ve been working out on my own for years. Then I was introduced to Sophia. She was cool and down to earth, so I figured I would give it a shot. Learned a lot of new exercises and worked areas of my body i usually ignore. She has been a great tool to push me to the limits. Never rushes me or makes me feel like just another client. I have been working with Sophia a little over 4 months now and I can’t say enough wonderful things about how you has single handily transformed my body. She has a plethora of knowledge. She was able to first assess my problem areas and really took the time to listen to my personal goals and made really great points about human anatomy that I was actually unaware of. For example: one of my problem areas is my lower stomach and I thought air ups Should fix that but Sophia addressed my posture and let me know that my lower ab problem is more about not having enough shoulder strength. No wonder 2 hours 4 times a week at the gym mostly spent on my lower abs wasn’t helping. She was also able to provide me with a wealth of knowledge regarding my diet and even helped to create a meal plan that is cost effective, provides optimal nutrition to protein ratios, and with a little meal prep could be ready in mins for those hectic days during the week. I really can’t say enough about Sophia except that I wish I had found her this time last year and I would have worn crop tops and two pieces all summer. Oh well, next summer I’m ready guns blazing. I have never been so happy with my body and that’s completly thanks to everything Sophia has done for me. She’s a trainer with heart who really cares and listens. Highly recommended!
I started working with Sophia before my wedding and my only regret is not working with her sooner. I had hit a plateau with my fitness goals and even though I was working out a lot, I wasn't seeing results. When I started working with Sophia, everything changed. I felt stronger, leaner,and had more energy. She is so good at breaking every move down and building a personalized workout for her clients. I've done group and solos with her and have felt accomplished in both. No workout is the same and she builds challenges each time. Not only is she amazing at the gym, she also helps me stick to my plan when I'm not with her. Highly recommend working with her!
