About Avery
Hi, my name is Avery. I'm an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist with a B.S. in Exercise Science Performance currently working on a M.S. in Human Performance and Fitness. I'm an active researcher and so far I've been involved in meta analysis' ranging from HIIT vs MICT cardio training to SJ vs. MJ exercises for muscle hypertrophy. My hope is to both inform and transform my clients with methods that are scientifically-founded. I currently offer personal virtual training or weekend group training via Zoom!
My favorite client story
One of my most successful clients (72 yrs) experienced not only a 50lb weight loss, but also an increase in strength, cessation of knee pain, and improved quality of life. Over the course of ~1 year, he adhered to regular strength training 2-3x per week in addition to progressively walking more every morning. Additionally, he was educated on better food choices and thus, the combination of improved nutrition and exercise yielded incredible results.
