My training philosophy
My philosophy for fitness focuses on preventative health maintenance by addressing muscle imbalances to improve strength, agility and functionality.
My training experience
Corina began a career in the health sciences in 2006 working as an ACE certified personal trainer with a passion in post-rehab exercise, injury prevention training and corrective exercise. Since then, she's been certified as an ACE Orthopedic Exercise Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist. In 2009, she graduated from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy and has been integrating aspects of therapeutic massage into her sessions. Her goal for every client is to reduce chronic pain/tension and train for optimum function by addressing faulty movement patterns and muscle imbalances. She integrates various modalities to create a unique session including neuromuscular therapy, PNF stretching techniques, HIIT, pilates, core strength and breath work. She believes empathy, trust and continuing education are paramount and looks forward to each client interact.

I've been working out with Corina for nearly three years. When we first met, I had persistent trouble with my lower back and hip flexors. My ankles were weak, and my shoulder blades were terribly tight. Corina had all the answers for my problems. She is extremely well versed on all matters of the body. In a short period of time, I was able to work with light weights. Together we worked to strengthen my core and maintain better posture. I consider myself very lucky to have her as my trainer.
